Toronto Pearson – Food Sampling

In order to promote the vast array of new culinary options, Black Chalk Marketing created a food sampling program at Toronto Pearson International Airport that ran in four waves throughout 2013. The waves coincided with new store openings and peak travel periods (Holiday, March Break and Thanksgiving). Black Chalk worked with the various restaurants throughout the airport to understand their food service offerings in the various terminals. Using professional grade food service equipment, our staff distributed various samples to departing passengers. Working with 12-15 various restaurants and food outlets for each wave has proved to be highly successful in educating and inspiring passengers to enjoy the new service offering at Toronto Pearson. Restaurants include: David Tea, Starbucks, Freshii, Thai Express, Molson Pub and Mill Street Brewery with over 10,000 samples distributed to date!
